Celebrate the joy pets bring to our families, friends, carers and dogwalkers with a thoughtful, personalised gift. This bespoke illustration is created from the photographs you provide, transformed into a charming greeting card and art print — a keepsake your recipient will treasure for years.
Please note: It is important to ensure you have the photos you'd like me to use ready before placing your order. Once your purchase is complete, you'll be prompted to email your images straight away.
As soon as I receive your photographs, your chosen pet(s) will be lovingly illustrated and paired with your selected background to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece, personalised to your specification.
The pet illustrations shown throughout the listings are examples from previous commissions and popular design combinations. They are displayed to showcase the background artwork available for each occasion and are provided for inspiration only. These designs are not available for resale.
Designed as a sustainable 2‑in‑1 keepsake, the card transforms into a miniature framed print once the occasion has passed. Simply trim around the brown kraft mount frame (as shown on the homepage) to reveal a delightful pet portrait ready to display.
If you choose a card with no wording on the front, you also have the option to create a larger art‑print size (140mm x 140mm). In this case, the entire front of the greeting card can be cut off and framed — rather than just the kraft‑mount area (100mm x 100mm).

You can also add a gold or black metal hinged display stand to your card for a refined finishing touch, with no extra postage costs. These exclusive 10cm x 10cm stands are available only when purchased alongside a card, offering an effortlessly elegant way to showcase their new artwork. If they prefer a classic look, the print can be placed into any frame they already own, creating a timeless piece for their home.
Each personalised illustration is digitally created by me in a soft, watercolour style, then printed and meticulously hand‑embellished in my Hertfordshire studio. Delicate ribbons, subtle rhinestones, polymer clay details and miniature metal findings are thoughtfully added to elevate every piece into a small, artful treasure.

Photo Submission
Once your order is placed, please immediately email your selection of JPEG photographs of the pet(s) to hi@coucoucards.com. For the most beautiful result, choose images where the pet is facing the camera — ideally seated — and ensure each pet’s name is clearly matched to the correct photograph. If you send multiple images per pet, I will carefully select the highest‑quality photo and the one that best complements the final composition.
For optimal clarity, please use high‑resolution photographs taken in good lighting, with flash as standard. All portraits are created as ‘head and chest’ illustrations, in keeping with the examples shown above and throughout the website.
Once all details have been received, your bespoke card and print will be created in my Hertfordshire studio and completed within up to five working days before being posted.

Card - 300gsm acid free premium quality white recycled cardstock, 350gsm kraft recycled cardstock and 100gsm white envelope

You’re welcome to add your own message to the front of any card (up to 60 characters, including spaces) at no extra charge.
If you’re looking for a card to suit an occasion not currently featured in my collection, please feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to explore the possibility of creating a bespoke design. As each new illustration requires dedicated studio time, pricing for bespoke cards will vary accordingly.
